Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Ahmed serves as the Religious and Executive Director of the Islamic Chaplaincy of New Jersey, overseeing all religious affairs and leading a team of chaplains across the Tri-state area. With nearly 20 years of experience in chaplaincy, Dr. Ahmed has served diverse communities in both hospital and correctional settings, providing spiritual guidance, emotional support, and community outreach.

Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Ahmed serves as the Religious and Executive Director of the Islamic Chaplaincy of New Jersey, overseeing all religious affairs and leading a team of chaplains across the Tri-state area. With nearly 20 years of experience in chaplaincy, Dr. Ahmed has served diverse communities in both hospital and correctional settings, providing spiritual guidance, emotional support, and community outreach.

Dr. Ahmed has devoted over a decade as Director Chaplain at a prominent sheriff’s office and has also served as a law enforcement chaplain in other significant capacities. His expertise extends to hospital chaplaincy, providing compassionate care in both psychiatric and general medical environments. This breadth of experience reflects his unwavering commitment to public service and his dedication to enhancing the well-being of the communities he serves.

Dr. Ahmed also serves as a distinguished Khateeb at the United Nations, delivering spiritual guidance during the annual Security Council sessions and for the United Nations Muslim Society at their New York City headquarters, where he fosters a deeper understanding of faith-based initiatives on a global scale.

With a strong foundation in theology, philosophy, and comparative religious law, Dr. Ahmed is recognized for his expertise across multiple religious schools of thought. He has memorized the entirety of the Qur’an and has received formal education in South Asia, the Middle East, and the West, giving him a unique perspective that resonates with people from diverse backgrounds.
